AUDI 436 Research Methods: An Interdisciplinary Approach Understanding research on quantitative and observable data requires a thorough understanding of the scientific method, familiarity with multiple methodological approaches to research, as well as the ability to critically evaluate the strengths and limitations of methods and data collected within a research paradigm. This multidisciplinary course is designed particularly for students within Media Arts who will benefit from an understanding of research methods in science and communications, as distinct from research in humanities and creative arts. Students in this course will learn about the strengths and limitations of various types of research, as well as directly apply research methods through group and individual research proposals and projects, including projects within their discipline.This course is not discipline-specific and therefore can serve students outside the department.
